Adult Classes
Class Description: Self Protection, Mixed Martial Arts & Cross Training
Clubb Chimera Martial Arts divides its services for adult students up into two distinct categories: Self Protection and Mixed Martial Arts. This is an effective way to address an individual's needs. We hold regular monthly workshops and can also be booked for private lessons for individuals and small groups as well as seminars for clubs, businesses and associations.

Self Protection
We provide a 10 hour training period to train students in civilian frontline self protection. This can be in the form of two five hour seminars or stretched over a period of private one-to-one or small group lessons. We begin with the individual in mind first, catering to their personal strengths and addressing their particular concerns. Self protection is divided up into soft skills (personal security) and hard skills (self defence). We address both, giving our students the most up to date information possible and providing them with workable and practical training programmes. Beyond the basic course, there are more specialized courses relating to high risk environments.
MMA or Mixed Martial Arts (aka "cage" fighting, vale tudo) is a modern combat sport that combines striking arts with grappling arts. It has three areas of study/phases of the game - stand-up (kickboxing), clinch (wrestling) and ground (submission grappling). We develop our own fighting methods through personal experience and also draw upon valuable information from well-respected gyms and study material.
Cross Training
Cross training isn't really a third service, but rather describes the CCMA outlook on training. Students who complete their 10 hours self protection are advised on attribute training to better research and improve their soft and hard skills. MMA students also shown other areas of study that can enhance their performance. The CCMA approach is best viewed through our "Vagabond Warriors" programme of workshops and courses held in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
