05.11.20 Thursday night I was booked in for a lesson by a teacher friend of mine. He and his two children are training in submission grappling/ground-fighting concepts with me. Much like my regular teacher consultancy lesson, this coach also has the assistance of a grappling dummy. Previously, I have introduced them to the pin transition exercise. This time we revised all this information - going through the complete drill from both sides - and they then chose to follow a path from escaping side control to closed guard. From here I taught the hip bump sweep to full mount. Based on reactions from the person being pinned we went to the grapevine and arm-triangle submission.
