MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)
Welcome to combat sport university! MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) is the culmination of strike-based and grappling-based systems. Here you will learn how to fight within the three ranges - stand-up, clinch and ground - whilst learning the all-important discipline of transitioning between them. More than the sum of its parts, MMA is an art in its own right, provided a fourth range in the form of the wall/fence. MMA presents a plethora of unique challenges even for experienced martial artists and it is highly recommended that you begin training only after completing a minimum of three other full courses but preferably six (including the two ground-fighting courses). The basic MMA course is also best tackled as three 10-hour courses: sprawl 'n brawl, ground 'n pound and complete MMA. Needless to say, MMA offers excellent attribute training for self-defence. Just interested in getting fit? Triple C Combat Fitness offers an extremely wide range of routines inspired by all the elements found in MMA. Combine shadow boxing with wrestling exercises to dynamic floor sequences; focus mitt, pad, heavy bag workouts and sports-specific callisthenics. Regardless of your chosen path, MMA is a highly rewarding and exciting journey.

Sprawl 'n Brawl
The first MMA course is a study in shoot-boxing. This includes shoot-kickboxing. At this range you will learn how to punch and wrestle/clinch with MMA gloves. Training covers using punches and kicks to transition to grappling range and to use them as part your defence against someone trying to access this range on you. This course also involves using a wide range of strikes, holds, throwing options and takedown defence whilst fighting in the clinch.

Ground 'n Pound
MMA ground fighting changes so much of what you might have come to expect from grappling-based Submission Grappling. Strikes change a lot and so does the use of the wall/fence. You will learn new strategies and tactics to land strikes, stand-up, sweep and submit when grounded. It's an eye-opening experience for any martial artist.

Complete MMA
This course puts everything together. Due to the bespoke nature of the CCMA approach, certain lessons might focus on one range in particular, but the norm will be a class where you get train everything together. Expect longer rounds and surprising fluidity between different martial arts skills.
