03.11.20 The final part of my client's 10 hour course focused entirely on developing a boxing combination. My client's lockdown partner was injured several week back playing football and is due to go in for surgery. Therefore, we decided to turn training towards developing better punching. After a warm-up of some simple footwork, where we worked out what movement patterns were safest for him, we moved onto our combination. We built up a combination of jab/cross/parry/parry/slip left/lead hook/duck right/shovel hook/duck left/shovel hook/lead hook. This was built up through shadow boxing first then partner drilling with the feeder also parrying punches and finally onto the focus mitts.
