Chaining techniques

Hour five of my client's Kickboixng course focused on building combinations. We used the following 3-minute rounds:


  1. Teeps to and fro

  2. Round kicks to and fro

  3. Set punch/kick combinations - boxing combinations with low kicks, boxing combinations with body shots and body kicks

  4. Expanded punch/kick combinations - counters from punches and kicks, combinations starting with kicks

  5. Front foot vs back foot

  6. Ditto

  7. Free sparring

  8. Heavy bag work with all of the above


The workout was also broken up with extra detail and coaching where required.
