Dealing with a verbal assault from CCMA's seminar in Denmark

This part of the comprehensive children's self-protection seminar delivered in Denmark deals with the verbal assault. It is important that children understand how to deal with the non-physical side of an attack before they learn the physical skills. Bad management of verbal assaults can lead to children making the wrong decisions and unnecessarily endangering themselves at one end or becoming a regular target for non-physical bullies at the other end.  Here we discuss different ways to deal with a verbal assault and put forward a simple solution that retains a student's sense self-respect without becoming physical whilst making them a hard target for other bullies.
