Elbows and Switch-Kick (diary entry)

02.12.2024 As stated in the blog title, my teenage client's eighth hour combined both elbow strikes and the switch-kick. We trained the following rounds.  

1. Heavy bag warm-up - looking at the ranges between elbow strikes and the switch-kick

2. Clinch only sparring

3. Clinch with elbows to the arms and body

4. Clinch with head cages (elbows to head as well as body)

5. Clinch with knees and elbows

6. Switch-kick versus clinch

7. Ditto

8. Pad-work
