My client's seventh hour was a strength and conditioning session. We were primarily concerned with strengthening his posterior chain. The programme was follows:
Pull-up development workout - objective to achieve a pull-up - scap pulls, iso holds, dead hangs and inverted rows
5 x 8-10 reps trap bar dead lift
3 x 10 reps each side dumbbell snatch
3 x 10 reps each side dumbbell swing
2 x 3-minute round heavy bag burn out (technique/speed/power)
Static and PNF stretching.
