My new client’s fourth hour began with a five-minute heavy bag warm-up. Then we looked to layer on catches and blocks to straight punches. The idea was that the fighter must come back with a counter after or whist executing a defensive move. We finished with some one-for-one sparring at close range to better promote constant flow in the pocket.
