Round kick to the body

Hour three of my client's Kickboxing course brought his round kicks up to the mid-section. We layered this onto his previous teep and low kick training. This was our 3-minute specific sparring plan:


  1. Teeps only sparring

  2. To and fro boxing combinations with leg kicks

  3. To and fro leg kicks with shin-checks

  4. To and fro round kicks to the body

  5. To and for Boxing combinations with round kicks to the body

  6. Boxing versus kicks

  7. Ditto

  8. Kickboxing sparring


We then finished with some pad-work to go through some details on the round kick to the body.
