

02.06.2023 Hour seven of the brother clients' MMA course brought us onto the scarf-hold position. We warmed up with the usual muscle activation crawls and dynamic stretching before moving onto the pin. Having established the hold from both sides, I taught escapes to guard as well as setups for counter-moves and reversals into scarf-hold or side control. Next, I had them both drill transitioning from side control to scarf-hold, ensuring they maintained hip contact and pressure whilst changing pins. The lesson finished with a tabata of each of them taking turns to maintain pins on me whilst using strikes under specific sparring conditions. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
