03.01.2023 My second private lesson of the New Year continued my client's specialised course on self-defence with hour eight. We moving onto symmetrical ground fighting. Because this situation nearly always occurs following a clinch, we continued our clinch work and looked at a couple of high success techniques - chin/head takedown and arm-triangle takedown. I also used the warm-up as a good opportunity to do some attribute training, working wrestling from the clinch. A takedown is likely to bring both fighters to the ground and therefore it is very important for the defender to effectively get back to their feet as quickly as possible whilst countering attempts by the attacker to hold onto them. We used the knee-pin and trained it from standard ground pins and directly after takedowns. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
