Shoot Kickboxing Begins

As the title indicates this second hour of my client's course moved us from shoot boxing to shoot kickboxing. However, we didn't introduce the kicks as such, unless you count knee strikes as kicks. Tonight's lesson focused on this particular technique. We used the following lesson plan.
3-minute rounds:
Boxing with MMA gloves
Grip fighting with MMA gloves
Knee strikes only
Knee strikes from trapping range
Knee strikes in clinch (no takedowns)
Knee strikes in clinch with takedowns
Heavy bag with knee strikes
We also took time out to look at various set-ups.
