Triple C (Chimera Combat Conditioning) is an offshoot of the core CCMA approach to self-proteciton and marital arts. Here we train attributes to improve our main skills. Training take place literally anywhere and we take full advantage of the environment provided. Innovation and creativity are emphasized without compromising training objectives. Unlike many "functional fitness" approaches, we don't just train "caveman" style to allieviate boredom, but for specific goals. Tonight we began with a technical session, as this is best trained first before heavy conditioning. This started with some shadow boxing and footwork drills on a tractor tyre. Then we drilled stand-up, clinch and ground. This was followed with some hill sprinting before the following tabata:
Vertical Sledgehammers to a Tractor Tyre Press-up/Tuck-Jump Burpee Sit-Throughs Overhead Car Tyre Throws Horizontal Sledgehammer Strikes to a Tractor Tyre Full Body Defence with Kettlebells Mountain Climbers Explosive Push-up into Knee Strike with a Medicine Ball
We then began warming down tith elevated plank side walks using the tractor tyre and box jumps onto the tractor whilst jab/crossing. The session was finished with a series of static stretches.
