Muay Thai Personal Training - Roll The Dice
Tonight in my client's Muay Thai Personal Training lesson we expanded upon our roll-the-dice format from the previous class with two dice. This gave us 11 possible goals in each round. As before, full Thai rules are permitted, but each fighter can only score using the techniques or tactics linked to the number they roll. The numbers are not to be revealed, and part of the task is to work out each fighter’s strategy.
Muay Thai Personal Training - The Rounds
The dice numbers were as follows:
1 -
2 Seek and score from clinch
3. Teeps
4. Leg kicks
5. Elbows
6. Knees
7. Lead hand punches
8. Rear hand punches
9. Round kicks to the body or head
10. Seek to corner and score
11. Counters
12. Sweeps, dumps and legal takedowns
The lesson finished with PNF, static stretching, mobility and isometric exercises.
