Wrestling Personal Training
Hour seven of my client's Wrestling Personal Training course brought us onto the single leg takedown. There are many different ways to execute this technique, but for the purposes of this basic lesson we concentrated on two. They were taught using a series of constraints-led games following our warm-up.

Warm-up
As before, we did some shadow wrestling in front of the mirror to establish basic form and movement.
Games & Sparring
Grip fighting
Leg tag - focusing on tagging the back of one leg only
Shoot for the shin - this sparring trains low level single leg takedowns
Shoot for the thigh
Begin with leg in single-leg takedown position - a deceptively tough specific sparring round
