Good to their name Wise Investment made a very prudent decision when they booked the services of CCMA to teach an introduction to self-protection. The packed 1.5 hour session consisted of understanding the role of self-protection in life as well as some foundational skills. We went through the following:

Self-protection definition - self-defence (hard skills) and personal security (soft skills)

Tactical escape with scaling - exercise

Understanding interpersonal violence

Understanding social violence

Understanding predatory violence

Managing stress/fear - exercise

Setting boundaries - discussion and exercise
