30.01.2023 Hour eight of my client's second Muay Thai course continued with more conditioning work. Her emphasis has been to raise her overall fitness level whilst learning Thai Boxing, so with basic techniques now down it was time to raise the physical standards. After a warm-up, we completed 12 rounds with active rest spots between the non-sparring ones. Round 1 - Jabs and straights only (focus mitts) Boxing press-ups (press-up/punch) Round 2 - Hooks and uppercuts only (focus mitts) Speed shadow hooks, shoe shines and rapid torso twists Round 3 - Boxing (focus mitts) Boxing crunches (crunch/punching) Round 4 - Jabs, straights and teeps (focus mitts/belly pad) Squat and teep Round 5 - All boxing with round kicks (focus mitts) Side-to-side round kicks Round 6 - Clinch with knees, elbows and associated strikes (such as punches to enter and kicks on the break) (belly pad) Lunge and knee Round 7 - Muay Thai (focus mitts/belly pad) Round 8 - Boxing (sparring) Round 9 - Straights and teeps versus everything (sparring) Round 10 - Ditto with roles reversed (sparring) Round 11 - Clinch (sparring) Round 12 - Free sparring   https://clubbchimera.com/services/
