My 1.5 hour client switched from Boxing to Muay Thai tonight. We adopted a similar approach to this art, isolating certain techniques and pitting them against their respective defences. Under a constraints-led approach to live training, the client to forced to make their own decisions and discover their own answers to certain problems. Restriction breeds creativity.
After a dynamic stretching and sports-specific muscle activation warm-up, we went through the following 14 x 2-minute rounds:
Jab/lead teep versus defence
