05.06.2024 My 1.5 hour client continued his Muay Thai training with 12 x 3-minute rounds of randomised specific sparring. Six possible sparring constraints were listed and the roll of a die decided which one we would follow:

  1. Boxing

  2. Elbows

  3. Knees

  4. Kicks

  5. Clinch

  6. Free-sparring

We ended up training elbows and kicks more than anything else. It was a fun way to keep the specific sparring unpredictable. Next we completed 6 x 1 minute rounds of interchangeably exchanging teeps to the mid-section and performing core exercises.

  1. Teep exchange

  2. Sit-up punching

  3. Teep exchange

  4. Russian twist hooks

  5. Teep exchange

  6. Hill climbers
