Hour six of my client’s Submission Grappling course stayed with half-guard with some specific work from a flattened half-guard and then moved back out to mid-range with butterfly guard.
We use the following 5-minute games with 1 minute rest:
Flattened half-guard. Objective - sweep or escape to full guard or other side versus cross-face.
Same as above starting on the other side.
Flattened half-guard. Objective - same as before versus cross-face or guard pass.
Same as above starting on the other side.
Full guard to butterfly guard. Objective - try to achieve butterfly guard versus chest-to-chest
We finished with static and PNF stretching.
