12.06.2024 Having worked on attack and defence for a while before the randomised sparring interlude last lesson, tonight our focus went back to the all-important flow. My 1.5 hour client has now begun work on feeding better counters, looking for opportunities presented in a fight and making sharper decisions. The following 3-minute rounds reflected this new training emphasis:

  1. One-for-one punching

  2. One-for-one kicking

  3. One-for-one knees or elbows in the clinch

  4. Clinch entry versus defence

  5. Ditto

  6. Punches (attack) versus kicks (defence)

  7. Ditto

  8. Attack versus counter-attack

  9. Ditto

  10. Clinch only sparring

  11. Freestyle

  12. Ditto
