Senior Boxing Personal Training
On Monday my client returned to resume his latest senior boxing personal training course. One of the advantages of personal training is the flexibility offered for scheduling and rescheduling. He has had a layoff for about three weeks, but came back keen to train. Today we worked on footwork.

Footwork Patterns
After our warm-up of muscle activation and dynamic stretching, we went through the following footwork patterns:
Pivot step
Basic shift step
Angled shift step (peek-a-boo style)
L-step
V-step
Then I focused on them through live training.
Specific Sparring
Round 1 - Footwork only
Round 2 - Defence versus attack
Round 3 - Attack versus defence
Round 4 - Attack versus counters
Round 5 - Counters versus attack
Round 6 - Front foot versus rear foot
Round 7 - Rear foot versus front foot
Round 8 - Free sparring
