10.10.2022 Monday night's first lesson brought my couple clients up to the eighth hour of their current submission grappling/ground-fighting course. Tonight we did more revision work in the specific sparring and drilling as well as going over a hook-guard sweep last trained virtually and I also introduced the straight ankle lock. We warmed up with over-hook/under-hook pummelling, under-guard/scooting and drilled basic guard position transitioning, closed/spider/butterfly/half-guard/knee shield/Z-guard. Next we returned to the hook-guard and went over the basic hook sweep. This brought us on the straight ankle-lock, perhaps the most basic of leg-locks. For some reason, it hadn't been covered and this seemed like the perfect teaching opportunity. The final part of the lesson was 4 x 2 minute specific guard-passing sparring. The first two rounds began from an open guard position whereas the last two were closed guard. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
