26.10.2023 My teenage client's fifth hour of Muay Thai saw him partnered not by his twin by his older brother. Said older brother has a basic background in Boxing. It has been over a month since we have trained and with addition of another beginner, the decision was made to revisit some basics. However, due to the older brother's previous experience I didn't spend very long on the punching side of things. After a dynamic stretch warm-up, we got into footwork (forwards, backwards, lateral and pivoting), jabs, crosses, the teep, shin-checks, posture, guard, cover, shield blocks and body blocks. These were then trained in 1-for-1, 2-for-2 and 3-for-3 specific sparring and then with me on the focus mitts and belly pad. We then moved onto the low round kick. This was then layered onto the rest of techniques and, once again, trained in specific partner sparring and on the pads. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
