Landing the left hook

My second lesson today brought my new client onto the sixth hour of his Boxing course. We have arrived at the left hook and I used a series of constraints-led games to better develop the execution of this technique.

1. footwork only

2. attack vs defence - hooks only

3. ditto

4. straight punches vs hooks

5. ditto

6. hooks to the head and straight to the body vs defence

7. ditto

8. straights to the head and hooks to the body vs defence

9. ditto

10. free sparring
