Tuesday night saw my junior and senior clients work together for their monthly 1.5 hour intensive session. Here they learn how to hold and feed focus mitts as well as more time to spar and drill. The senior student benefits more by committing to the material being caught in playing a coaching role whereas the junior student gets more of a test with his resistance based work.
Combination 5 - Catch kick/hook/cross/hook/double leg shoot
This combination is a counter-attack, using a Muay Thai style approach. After catching a lead or switch-kick, the fighter breaks the opponent's posture, firing in a lead hook, rapidly followed by the cross and another hook in a tight combination. The shoot has the fighter drop from the opponent's eyeline and also repeats the circular to straight line alternate pattern set by the first hook.

Combination 6 - Jab/move out/move in/jab/cross/jab/double leg shoot This combination uses a more boxing/kickboxing approach with the in and out footwork at the beginning, followed by a blitzing attack to set up for the shoot. We then commenced 9 x 2 minute rounds of boxing, Muay Thai and MMA sparring. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
