Hour nine continued my teacher client's exploration around the omoplata and we have decided to work more on the arm-bar/triangle/omoplata strategy. We used the following games of 5-minute rounds:
Neck, neck, shoulder blade - in this game the fighter seeks to either get the back of their leg over their opponent's neck (as with an arm-bar), inside of their leg around their neck (as with a triangle) or over their shoulder blade (as with a triangle). The opponent's job is to counter any of these attacks. The fight stops if the fighter achieves their objective (wins), opponent achieves a direct counter (loses) or ends in a neutral position (both lose).
Begin in arm-bar position - Fighter seeks to submit or counter with a trap. Opponent looks to escape and/or pass.
Begin in triangle - as above
Begin in omoplata - as above
Next lesson we will focus on the triangle. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
