Parries and blocks

The third hour of my teenage client's Boxing course brought us onto the next layer of defence: parries and blocks. We divided the class into a specific sparring, mitts and heavy bag work.


The lesson began with a warm-up using the mirrors to look at foot and head movement before we got into the 12 x 3-minute rounds.

  10. heavy bag - movement and level changing

  11. heavy bag - freestyle
