Remote Martial Arts Teacher Training
Remote martial arts teacher training delivered online is a great way to reach anyone wanting access to martial arts information. I train several clients outside of my native UK and even within the country online. Teachers who can train along with me, with partners under my coaching and through consultation. Having said that, I have also successfully taught many non-teachers online too who have benefitted from the experience.
My clients from Hostlebro Taekwondo Klub, Denmark (chief instructor and instructor), joined me for the third their current course of boxing lessons. We moved more onto some specialised footwork - shift steps, mainly from the peek-a-boo style and v-steps - to switch stances and take angles. After a specific warm-up and shadow boxing, we moved back onto the specific (constraints-led approach) sparring methods.

Training Out of Corners
We used corner sparring where the objective was for one boxer to escape a corner without getting hit and after landing a punch. This really helped with creating angles, switching stances, feinting and other tactics besides.
Straight Punches Versus Hooks and Uppercuts
Here one boxer attacks with straight punches only whilst the opponent uses hooks and uppercuts. We drilled this first to encourage the shifting footwork using the "jabbing machine" approach. Next, we put it into sparring.
Breaking Down the L-Step
Sparring was dividing into these specific exercises:
Back and forth straight punching
Escape to side-step
Next I had them spar working out of the corners.
