15.10.14 After a single lesson interlude I resumed teaching my client on the sixth of his 10-lesson stand-up grappling/clinch course. We began layering tactics at the three different levels of attack, revising selected techniques and progressing with more suggestions and variations. The belly-to-back suplex and two waistlock takedown variations were covered before moving onto the principles behind the hip throw. From the hip throw we looked at the similarities between the arm triangle takedown and the shoulder throw. Then we moved onto the single leg takedown and how to counter using a single leg takedown.
