Round Kick Combinations & Counters (diary entry)

My 1.5-hour client focused entirely on round kicks to the body. We went into detail regarding rolling the hips and timing for both the rear leg and switch-kick versions. Then we trained the following five combinations:
Jabbing cross/rear body kick
Push/rear body kick
Jab/cross/lead elbow/rear elbow/2 x rear body kick/pull back/rear body kick
Lead hook/2 x rear body kick/cross/2 x lead body kick
Jab/cross/2 x rear body kick/catch kick/throw/2 x rear body kick
These were trained on the focus mitts and as applications.
