21.04.2023 This morning brought my teacher client from USKO Cotswolds onto hour four of his submission grappling/ground fighting course. We moved onto scarf-hold attacks and defence. The lesson began with sports specific exercises followed by a revision the pin transition drill. With both directions confirmed, I put a light layer of resistance into the transitioning to test my client's weight distribution. We then began work on the scarf-hold. This began with a simple arm-bar and was followed by an arm-triangle and a snake-choke. After both sides were covered, we looked at two defences from the hold: a forward reversal and headscissor defence. The lesson finished with 2 x 2 minute specific sparring testing attack and defence from pins, focusing on the scarf-hold. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
