28.04.2023 This morning brought my teacher client from USKO Cotswolds onto hour five of his submission grappling/ground fighting course. We stayed with the scarf-hold but reviewed escapes from the previous lesson and also looked at escaping the conventional head-lock variation. The lesson began with our standard specific crawling exercises, training ground-fighting movements and correct muscle activation. We then reviewed the pinning pattern with and without some resistance. Next, we went back to the scarf-hold and reviewed the reversal and escape to the back. I then took us onto the head-lock version, commonly taught in Judo and also a primal grappling hold. https://clubbchimera.com/services/
