Stacking in MMA & Defence in Boxing (diary entry)

My junior client continued his Mixed Martial Art training with the stack and pound drills I taught to my couple clients' last Monday. My senior client looked at defensive drills in his boxing. The first session finished with 4 x 2 minute rounds of specific sparring. My junior client twice sparred both from the top and bottom position. The second sessions drills were as follows:

  1. Retreat and pivot step

  2. Moving to the outside/blind side of an opponent

  3. Clinch and control

  4. Catch

  5. Parry

  6. Block

  7. Slip

  8. Dip and roll
