

06.02.2024 Hour nine of my client's Muay Thai course moved us away from the muay mat style and into the muay plam (clinch). After our usual five minutes of flow sparring we focused on the four sweeps I have discussed the last two blog posts. We paid attention to not reaping the leg with the quarter turn and emphasised the importance of the upper body leverage. All four sweeps were then tested in two rounds of specific sparring.
