My 1.5 hour client continued his Muay Thai training with a look at how longer time spent on attack and defence sparring would impact on his overall fighting style. Therefore, rather than alternating between a attack or defence only restricted rounds, we covered several rounds where we stayed on the attack or the defence.
Testing Attack/Defence Behaviours - 3-minute rounds with 1 minute rest to assess performance:
Attack versus defence - boxing
Attack versus defence - kicks only
Attack versus defence - clinch only
Front foot versus back-foot sparring - kickboxing & clinch
Freesparring
Defence versus attack - boxing
Defence versus attack - kicks
Defence versus attack - clinch only
Front foot versus back-foot sparring - kickboxing & clinch
Freesparring
